Our caregivers are the heart of Jonz 1 Forever Cares. They are dedicated, reliable, and compassionate individuals who genuinely care about the people we support.
Each caregiver is carefully selected, trained, and supported to provide high-quality care that promotes independence, dignity, and a better quality of life.
We Understand Because We've Been There
At Jonz 1 Forever Cares, our approach comes from years of hands-on experience caring for individuals with disabilities and supporting people who need assistance in their everyday lives.
We understand the long shifts. We understand how much patience this work requires. We understand the responsibility of caring for someone's loved one, the emotional weight that can come with the job, and how exhausting it can become when caregivers don't feel supported.
That's why caring for our DSPs is part of how we care for our individuals.
We want our DSPs to feel heard, respected, appreciated, and supported—not like they're just another person filling a shift. We believe caregivers who feel valued are better able to build meaningful relationships, provide consistent care, and continue doing the work they love without feeling like they have to carry everything alone.Our individuals deserve caregivers who want to stay.Our families deserve consistency.And our DSPs deserve to know that someone is looking out for them, too.

At Jonz 1 Forever Cares, we believe great care starts with great caregivers. We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and respectful individuals who understand that providing care is more than completing tasks.
We serve seniors, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and others who need support with everyday living.
We look for caregivers who demonstrate:

Ongoing Supervision & Continuing Education
At Jonz 1 Forever Cares, caregiver support does not end after orientation. Our leadership remains actively involved through ongoing supervision, regular communication, and review of service documentation to help ensure care continues to meet our standards and each individual’s needs.
Caregivers receive continued training and education throughout their employment to strengthen their skills, reinforce agency expectations, and remain informed of applicable requirements and best practices. When concerns or opportunities for improvement are identified,
we address them promptly through additional guidance, coaching, or training.We believe that when caregivers continue to learn and have accessible leadership behind them, they are better equipped to provide safe, dependable, and compassionate support.
What Every Caregiver Must Complete
Before joining the Jonz 1 Forever Cares team, caregivers go through a thorough screening and selection process designed to help us choose dependable, compassionate, and qualified individuals.

Required criminal history and background screening

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) screening, as applicable

Required exclusion and registry checksSex offender registry screening

Employment history and professional reference verification

Review of qualifications, experience, and required credentials

Personal interview focused on communication, professionalism, judgment, reliability, and approach to caregiving

Completion of required orientation and training before providing services
